Academy Makeup Artistry Short Course*Based on SIBXFAS201A – Design and Apply Makeup 

There is no previous experience required for this Bridal and Special Occasion Makeup Course.

Our Makeup artistry course includes an introduction to hairstyling. On the final day you will create a simple and effective hairstyle on your model.  It is a great asset to have hair and makeup skills so that you are able to maximize your opportunities for work. Further training can be undertaken in our Express Upstyling Course, or other private training in hairstyling.

Ideally suited to Salon Professionals and Novices alike, this fun and informative short course will ease you into the exciting world of Makeup artistry effortlessly and enjoyably.

Taught by an amazing team of industry experts, you will gain an insight into current trends, with a traditional core background. Once you master the foundation techniques you can run with your creativity and create many looks for yourself and your clients.

This Course covers:

BRIDAL MAKE-UP

We will teach you the techniques required to do a Bridal Party:

• Bride

• Mother of the Bride

• Bridesmaids

• Flower girls

• Learn how to conduct a trial make-up and what to do on the big day.

CORRECTIVE MAKE-UP:

An important aspect of make-up application is knowing how to create the perfect face shape and correct different features. This course gives you an opportunity to put some of these techniques into practice.

EYES:

Eyes are the most important part of the face as they are the most expressive. During the course you will learn several eye techniques. It is a great time to experiment with an expert on hand.

EYELASHES:

You will learn and practice both the Strip and Individual Flare methods of Eyelash Application.

In class you will work with ATELIER Professional Makeup. This is a French product used extensively my Professionals in Editorial, Film and Television.

You will also be introduced to Vani-T Krush Minerals – used by many celebrities and free of petrochemicals and additives.

Included in your fee is a Student Brush Kit, Strip Eyelashes, Makeup Cape, Disposables and all Makeup for class use.

Starter and Professional Kits are available to purchase from Academy Studio.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.

Requirements: None. Everything is provided for your class use.

Models: One Model on the final session required for this training. You will work on each other in class.
