The Academy is excited to announce its partnership with ReachOut!
ReachOut is the most accessed online mental health service for young people and their parents in Australia. They have been championing wider access to mental health support since they launched their online service more than 20 years ago.
They have a trusted self-help information, peer-support program and referral tool that saves lives by helping young people be well and stay well.
The information they offer to parents also makes it easier for them to help their teenagers.
Everything they create is based on the latest evidence and is designed with experts and young people, or their parents. It is a free service that is available anytime and pretty much anywhere.
Incoming The Academy families will have exclusive access to ReachOut resources and other exciting initiatives we will implement throughout the partnership. We are grateful to have them on board to support our students, parents and staff.
The Academy will be kicking off this partnership with ReachOut with students, families, and staff participating in their Make a Move for Mental Health initiative all throughout October. Make a Move encourages participants to set daily “movement” goals, whether it be physical or mental exercise, as a way of staying active and supporting general wellbeing.
